Beautifully restored and beautiful old hotel, holiday base for exploring Ardres. Exceptionally comfortable bed in the family room, plus central heating and a TV set with satellite channels. Really great overall experience.

The host Bruno was accommodating and friendly. The room was beautiful with a comfortable bed and a divine shower. Breakfast was brought forward for our early departure and the delicious bread and excellent coffee were greatly appreciated. Convenient location for the Calais ferry.

The fact that breakfast was included in the price is always a plus, and the location of the hotel in the middle of the city was marvelous.

We had a perfect stopover near Calais at Aux Portes Des Lacs. the location was quiet and peaceful, and we found great restaurants within walking distance. Our room was comfortable and the bathroom was well equipped. the host was incredibly helpful and even booked a restaurant for us. the French breakfast provided gave us the energy we needed for our journey back home.
